My attempt at the superb Carl Reid Figure. Part 1.

(Apologies for appalling camera skills.)

... (y) getting there !! good work on the face !
Maybe just a few more highlights with a light flesh colour, on the top of wrinkles in the forehead, upper ridge of the nose, upper eyelids, cheekbones, corners of upper lip, and on the chin ?

What a stunning bust! :) I didn't knew this miniature! Here's a great reason to buy it ASAP!

Your model is turning out lovingly great Ventress!!! :)

I was going for the 0500hrs reveille look of a 20 years service Sgt, gently waking the soldiers for duty at Waterloo.

"Gently" indeed! A mean lookin' grizzled ol' soul. Like him a lot!

Rob, Are you doing this in oils or acrylics or what? Like the face! Lots of character!

Thanks

Kevin

GW new acrylics- which are very good for my needs. The washes and glazes are very good and matt down very well.
