Mongo Mel
A Fixture
Hello all,
I took your suggestions and with a little tweaking I think I got a good result on the sheepskin collar.
What I did was to paint it with the Unbleached Titanium and let it dry. Then I stippled on a light coat of the Parchment. While still wet, I applied a very thin and splochy wash of Raw Umber, with a heavier wash in the seams. Then I added a final coating of the Parchment, very, very lightly stippled on to the tops of the texture in random areas. The pictures I have are of it with the paint still wet.
I still can't get MSN pictures to show up here so I'm just posting a link to one of the pictures.Sheepskin collar
There are a few other shots of it as well as one of the head.
I'd appreciate hearing what you think of how it turned out.
Thanks very much for the help. Your suggestions really did the trick .
