DG Artworks Shinsengumi bust painted in acrylics. The effect on the plinth was done using Lifecolour's new "Algae" set

Super job on this one and glad you stuck with Shinsengumi's "uniform". I had this one in my hands twice last Saturday at the MFCA and couldn't pull the trigger. Maybe next time after seeing your version.

A truly beautiful job on this. Perfectly clean style of painting really suits the piece.
Not a subject I know anything about but clearly those who do are mighty impressed (y)

Thanks for the comments chaps, The lines on the jacket were a bit of an experiment but they seem to take a life of their own. A good brush, thin paint and hold your breath. And if your vision started to dim, you needed to finish the line first, before taking another breath.
I'm not sure the type of sword but I did base it on reference that Nap did in his review of this kit.
