Super job on this one and glad you stuck with Shinsengumi's "uniform". I had this one in my hands twice last Saturday at the MFCA and couldn't pull the trigger. Maybe next time after seeing your version.

The blues on the jacket are great!
The base ties in really well with the bust.
What kind of sword is that? I'm dead interested in samurai swords from the Triassic period.

Thanks for the comments chaps, The lines on the jacket were a bit of an experiment but they seem to take a life of their own. A good brush, thin paint and hold your breath. And if your vision started to dim, you needed to finish the line first, before taking another breath.
I'm not sure the type of sword but I did base it on reference that Nap did in his review of this kit.
