Hello everyone. I am ready to present you my next job. This time it was possible to make a vignette of two figures from Altores. The idea of the vignette was given to me by the customer, for which special thanks to him. I just had to bring the idea to life.
Shown here is a match-up between a Knight of the Hospitaller Order and a Mamluk Muslim warrior. The skirmish could have taken place in 1265, during the siege of the Hospitaller fortress of Arsuf by a well-trained Mamluk army under the command of Sultan Baybars. I will not go into history, because it is not difficult to guess who won this battle, although the outcome of this fight is far from so predictable. The work was made to order. Size 75 mm. Happy viewing.
