]Hey guys,
This is a 54 mm. Andrea figure, this is a commission piece that's been sitting on my work bench for quite a while, finally after numerous phone calls from an angry collector,I finally finished the figure.

I would like you guys to see it before packing and shipping.

Comments and critique are certainly welcome.

Some times working on commissions can be a bit stressful and demanding, kind of takes the pleasure out of painting figures.

oils huh? so....can you tell me your mix for the yellow color, i don´t know how star the work in that color on the bruce bust, could you give some suggestions?

Hey Ed, My pleasure.

I under coat with acrylic yellow.
1 - base = Cadmium yellow with a bit of Mars yellow .
2 - medium shadow = base + violet.
3- deep shadows = violet.
4 - extreme shadows Dioxide purple or any purple you might have.
5- highlights = Cadmium yellow.
6- extreme highlights = Cadmium yellow + Titanium white.
I paint wet on wet.

Yeah tell me about it, I painted 10 figures in 13 days

Would love some clearer pics of the design on the sheild, its looking good but closer pics would be great!

Nice work, I like the background as well. The stone work is excellent.

I know what you mean, with a commission, you just want to get it done. I was lucky with Tomoe Gozen in that he kept telling me to take as long as necassary and put it down if I had to. Poor guy has been waiting over a year.
