I ´m a longtime subscriber and payed every year my invoice, but over the last 6 or 7 months nothing happened............I think they disappeared like Figurines or Historical Miniatures without a trace.:(
And the money is gone,too.........:cautious:

Sadly the final 'hard' copy of this excellent magazine was issued several months ago.
The editorial gave a comprehensive breakdown of the reasons for their decision.
Can't remember if there was an intention to establish an online version.
Cheers
Derek

We all know (ironically) the internet has played a major hand in the demise of physical magazines. I've never been able to get my head around Figurines' decision not to publish in English, for example. I suppose it makes Historical Miniature 'magazine' all the more important now. They ought to have made some sort of announcement though, even out of courtesy for their subscribers.

I have a number of issues of Soldatini (picked up over the years at shows) and it's a great mag. I would buy more, but every time I see them on eBay it usually involves stupid shipping costs from abroad, and I don't want them that badly.

I do miss the "paper" mags. Digital mags just aren't the same. I have a few issues (maybe a dozen or so) of "Figurementors" / "Illustrated Historical Artist" but - as excellently done and as beautifully illustrated as they are - it's just not the same as picking a "proper" mag off your shelf, holding it in your mitts and having a leaf through. If those mags were "hard" copies, I'd be all over them on a monthly basis. I'm old-school like that.
