Hi all,

I was wondering what would be the best solvent to use in order to remove paint from a resin figurine without damaging it?

Kind regards.

De-natured Alchohol will work as well, when i was building aircraft models i could remove (acrylic) off clear parts with it!

Can be found in hardware stores..

hello,

i always use a soft soap gel called D'OR it comes in a plastic container, i put the figure in a plastic bag together with some soap and leave it for a couple of days, and everything comes off under a running tap without any damage, you can use it to remove any medium you like

I also use D'or. It's just magical and you can buy it as a soap (the container Merty mentioned) or as a liquid. I use oil paint so I don't know if it's as good against Acrylics.
