I am working on a "Soldier of Christ" figure that I recently got. I'm trying to figure what kind of groundwork to do for the pedestal. I think sand would be boring and probably not correct. Grass would be too much like my other figures. So could some one give me a suggestion for what kind of groundwork would be correct and look good?

I hope to paste pictures this weekend of what I have accomplished so far.
Thanks in advance.

Which figure specifically is it; that might help. Off the top of my head, if the figure is not in a fighting pose, you could go with a stone, wood, or mosaic floor.

Hi, it is the 75mm Pegaso Soldier of Christ. A Sergeant Knight Templar who is standing holding shield by top. Sone floor might be easy enough to do.
Thanks.
