Hello Guys,

The weekend is over, and i must say the show and contest where great.
The competition was very hard, what ended up in more medalls then ever. For the best of show there was a strange situation: Two people ended up with the same numbers. The jury counted again, reread the results again and again, but these two persons ended equally. So after debating they where all agree that in that case there where two BOS.
So here it is: Mister Esperanza with a fabulous rendition off a mounted Civil War Soldier.
Mister Marijn v Gils for the second time in Antwerp BOS. So Marijn
get the award with the real diamond with him to his home.
There was Gold for Marion Ball Ebensperger for the vignette sculpted by her husband Alan Ball called "Lady Jane, The end of Dreams".
There where alot of PF members who are given Recomended, or silver, brons yes even gold.

This Samurai bust was from a beginner and was rewarded with a gold medall.

Thanks Marc. I don't consider myself a beginner, but maybe I should looking at the quality that was present at the beginner level.

Hello Brad,

With your skills and winnings you should enter with the masters.
Yes the level is in my opinion higher then at Euro. I hope that Alan or Marion dropping in maybe Konrad Shulte. They where members of the jury so they can look with another eye to the level of painting.

Thanks Guy,

Well, i think for me it was a good weekend. I got a recommended for the Marcomanni. Talking sunday with Conny (he was in the jury) i know now where i pay attention to. (that's why the threat is about light).
Last year i painted a crusader from SPARTA miniature's. They gave me the award for best painted SPARTA figure. So i got a nice medall.
After all it was a great weekend.

Congrats Marc! I would love to go to a Euro show. Maybe the next World Expo?

Hello Marc

Thanks for posting these pictures - the AMSS Show is without doubt one of the major shows on the European calendar, and from the pictures, it's attracting some excellent modellers.

Congratulations on the commended with your Marcommani - very well deserved.

Expo is on my calendar too.

Cheers

Phil

Thanks Phil,

I must say that Ramir was missing you. And he missed more guys from the other side of the Channel.
