I've been away from doing figures. Got distracted with armor. Besides it's kinda intimidating to post my work here among the finest figure modellers and painters.

Nice pictures. But I think you still can improve them more, by adding some matt clear coat on the top since the figure are too glossy, not realistic. :)
 
Try to make the eyes a little less staring. Don't use white white but a little 'broken' white. This will improve your eyes a lot.

Thanks for the tip.

The reason it's a bit glossy is because I keep it that way. I got problem with dust. I've got no glass cupboard and there's construction in front of my building and we've got dust storms coming around by next month maybe. It's easier to dust it off when it's a bit glossy.

The roman BTW is a mini-art plastic kit I modified with putty and styrene for the lorica squalea?(sp).
