Hi friends!

This was my last work before the WE. It's a special figure, sculpted by Pedro Fernandez cos' there are only six copies in the world. It's a 70mm (taking reference of the siren's body).

Painted with oils and some acrylics.

It won a silver medal in the WE. It's not at 100% like in my mind, but I think it's fine.

As always, feel free to comment

I was looking at this on the WE photos and thought it was a beautiful piece of work.
Congratulations on the medal,
Carl.

Wow, very vivid colours that really work well together. I love the base, with the rusty ship hulk, and that water spray is superb. Very impressive

Really nice work Alex. The fleshtones are the strongest area in the painting for me, wonderfully smooth. I really like how you've painted most of the rusty metal too.

FWIW I think silver is a fair score for it.

Thanks to all for your words! I'm happy that it likes to you!!

About the water effect; I used Andrea's resin water for the base and... well, I don't know it's name in english... but it's a kind of fiber for fishing... I'm not sure what's its real name... sorry... :notworthy:

Cheers!
