This figure is from Black Sun Miniatures and is my first serious attempt at scale figure modelling.
The casting was very sharp and required only minimal cleaning before assembly.
Paints used were MIG and Vallejo acrylics and the figure currently sits on a temporary base.
As a first effort I don't think it has turned out too bad, however, I freely admit that the eyes were the biggest challenge with room for improvement.
Hope that you enjoy my effort and any comments would be welcome.

A good effort. However there does seem to be a variant in the skin tone, from head to arm which makes the piece look a little odd. What scale is the figure?

Mark.

Hice start agree with Marks comment

The figure scale is 75mm and I agree that the skin tone variation does look odd in the photo and I am not sure why as I used the same paint mix for both the face and arms. I am going to try the MIG skin colours and see how they turn out.

I have looked at various articles, videos and tutorials on eyes and will just have to persevere, must do better!

Thanks for your interest Gents.

Thanks folks for the support.
No problems with the casting quality of this figure it is amongst the sharpest that I have ever seen particularly given the size of the figure.
Having spent time trying to repaint the figure face I have taken the plunge and decided to strip the paint and start again.
Happy days.
