Hi,
I'm working on a victorian diorama set in 221b Baker Street. :)

Does anyone know of a source for a suitable picture frame in 75mm scale?

Thanks,
Gerry

Hi Gerry

Have you thought about looking at Dolls house accessories ...might get something there suitable ?

Sorry can’t be more helpful

Hope you share the work on the Diorama as well

I can't think of any 75mm scale items, but am aware of frames in 1/32.
The set is 2 small and 1 large by S&D Models (formerly Phoenix Models):-
https://www.sanddmodels.co.uk/products_32_accessories.htm
Scroll down to item AF10.
The larger one might be of some use.

Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew, I'll take a look. I suspect that since frames vary so much in size and decor I may be able to make it work.

Regarding Phoenix, there is still a Phoenix Model Developments which produces doll house furniture in 1/12 scale. S&D doesn't have that part of the catalog, but I know that my Phoenix searches on eBay return the items. I think this was part of Phoenix Model Developments' catalog, though someone may know better. In any case, the products have the Phoenix packaging, like this example:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/364565140238?itmmeta=01J53S901WP2JQ1AG2SPDE42FW&hash=item54e1c6930e:g:snwAAOSwUQllRqr~&itmprp=enc:AQAJAAAA8OzC/rSFI4bD4oamjb4eDa1Z8tRn8NWuX9n7RTjX+77xzXxbAJPfErgjcsqDMEYU6DTfejdyEhaL6/6vnFCmdUzSwi4m7xn1SKgv0GQ7qfGuWr+mdsxESh9LzgethoZOOV6+wkfQXFHnu8j/2vDjhgf6jFv+G5GfKm5lG7lHMFfcpvfnwUoStpRoNucPexT6Fknw0Hm6tNy8lQPIShi5/uC00qVRhf6WqV4OhcTxFJCz4VYxBfPIRtdzhGPl1Nq/qjFoGSSrSdCbZg2fzebOjeES6r0hUqwaV0yFvqAsAm1l5xvkODeMGyL9zu98ZKBdnA==|tkp:Bk9SR4yBpPmoZA

I have no connection to that auction or the seller, by the way. It's just a current item returned by my search.

It might be worth looking for more of that dollhouse line.

Hope that helps!
Prost!
Brad

A postscript...
OK, looks like the actual maker is Warwick Miniatures. I don't know any more about the connection, though I'd guess that whoever runs Warwick bought the name or part of it.

I did a little more searching and found pages for Warwick at the current Phoenix website. They do have some frames in 1/12 scale, here: https://www.phoenixmodeldevelopments.com/acatalog/drawing.html

They are true frames, unlike the old 54mm pieces that Phoenix made. That is, they do not have a solid center inside the frame. But hopefully that helps!

Prost!
Brad

Thanks,
For the image I have in mind one of the oval frames could be perfect.
