Background
This is not my usual subject preference or scale, however, I have bought this figure, together with the Bronco Models "Triumph 3HW" Motorcycle set in honour of my late father-In-Law who served as a Dispatch Rider and later as his GOC's outrider. He was Coldstream Guards 1941-46, landed after D-Day and went with XXX Corps all the way to the North German coast and thence back to Koln.

The Figure
This comes in a tiny 'zip-loc' bag in a sturdy card box with colour box art. There is a small paper insert describing the inspiration for the figure which turns out to have been based on a contemporary photograph of an actual dispatch rider in Italy, namely (Private?) Bernard 'Des' Desmares. This little figure does its sculpter proud as the pose is a true representation of the enclosed photo.

Casting
Is in 3 parts, in cream resin that is crisp with nominal amounts of flash.

Summary
There's little more to add. Hopefully the enclosed photos will tell all. I have also included a photograph of my late Father-In-Law to explain the inspiration he has given me to complete this project. The Bronco Kit contains 2 'bikes, so I shall be making 2 examples up (one for my Brother-In-Law) and I may use a different figure for my version.
