Hi Kurt,

thank you for the advice with reedees (but I guess shipping to germany will kill it when I need only one ore two rifles...) I visited a friend today and suprisingly he just finished printing this lee enfield:

the other part was included in the kit?! It looks like a great kit but there are some casting issues which is not so nice. What other figures did cadre miniatures made? Couldnt find something on the internet

Haha I thought that this one could be older than me ^^ I bought it mostly for the child ^^ its very hard to get figures with that theme in 1:16 / 120mm

Hi Patrick,

I think David J Parkins of the "Firing Line" acquired most if not all of the Cadre Miniatures line in the 1990's, if i recall correctly he changed one of the arms on the infantryman and sold it on its own, if you check his website out i think he still sells the Lee Enfield with photo etch.

I think the little boy was used in another "Firing Line" kit called Remembrance.

Foxwood figures acquired some of the "Firing Line" masters including the Infantryman but they don't seem to be trading any more..

Thanks Ian I will have a look at DJ Parkins.

This is an old kit, just look at the telephone code for Birmingham on the instruction sheet! Must go back to the 70s, I would guess.

Im not from uk so I cant say anything to the telefonnumber :D

When it comes to kits in 120mm, 1/15 or 1/16 from WWI through to present day i'm a real "Saddo" as i try to catalogue them and track a copy down for my collection..

This kit was announced in Military Modelling Magazine June 1992 (Vol 22) and i think the UK area codes changed to include a "1" around April 1995..

Hi Patrick,

Sorry i missed your question..

I think Cadre Miniatures was a business operated by the late Pete Morton and they produced a few figures from WW2, Northern Ireland, Falklands War and a couple of medieval/fantasy kits that i'm aware of..

They also made the Excellent highland King battling against a Viking,a great Pete Morton sculpt.
Regards
Pete
