Spartan Officer 1/10 Metal Bust

Hello there guys .

I ve started Athens Miniatures 1/10 metal bust of a Spartan Officer in the Thermopylae battle .
The molding is perfect boys. And i mean it. No flows , no mold lines no mistakes. Perfect work .Surfaces are nice and the sculpting from Kostas Kariotellis is simply unbelievable.

So i am in erarly stages , I ve give it some face work and first coats on armor, hair and beard. Have some hard time with hiton;s dark red colouring , but i am working on it .

Your skins look very nice my friend, I would add another highlight to really add some spark to the face.

Hey Costas,

I had to go back and look at the bust and I noticed something about the eyes. His left eye is just about perfect, his right eye is not "aligned" to good with the left. HIs left eye is looking up while the right one is looking down. This is fixed easily with a little paint in the upper side of the Iris. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Hey Costas,

This bust looks very good. I think the red also looks really good. You dont want too many highlight (I think) on the red or it might end up being orange or pink or something. I agree with Anders on the eyes. Easy to fix though. All in All - Excellent!
