Apart from the leatyer bracer on the left arm ( very minor quibble) which was introduced to the Roman uniform by western stuntmen in Hollywood films this looks to be a pretty good figure , the lames on the arm even run in the correct direction....a first for a figure!!

Well done

A stunner of a figure.A fantastic addittion to the evocatii line,I had the privilege of seeing it painted by mr Cortina close up in the Athens show last week.It is nothing short of a beauty!!!As Alexandre informed me there are going to be 6 evocatii in total so those of you who have a veteran's vignette in mind (like myself),be patient more is on the way.I was amazed to know that Alexandre (a certified classical artist of extraordinary skill) designs all his figures and then passes on his designs to the Maestro(don't ask who this is,there is only one Maestro) for realization so in this line he has done a lot of work with facial expressions, trying to create distinct personalities instead of generic roman soldiers.I do not know how you feel but I think that this heavenly duo have done remarkable work so far (not to mention they have me dreaming as to what is on the way).Alexandre is one of the most good natured, well educated, sociable people I have ever come accross in this hobby. He is never tired-or snobbish for that matter-to discuss his work with anyone interested. And what work that is indeed!!!!

Just great work!!!!! Very great stuff from Master Laruccia and Master Bonastre. (y)

These figures just have that 'on campaign' look that many fail to capture and no 'pretty boy' faces either; brilliant! Look forward to getting the follow ups mentioned by Oda too.

My kit came in yesterday! The casting, fit, etc. are all what we come to expect from Alexandros. The interesting thing I noticed was that there is a second right arm with the manica included in the kit! The arm is bent as opposed to the straight one shown on the box art.
