Recently I got aquinted with fimoclay.
I'm not sure how to call this brand properly, but I did some sculpting.
Partially.
In the nearby future I might want to give a try sculpting heads and hands.
So far I did the torso, arms and legs.
step by step, right?

Just to stay enthusiastic I painted the smock already....

The camo smock is looking good so far.
As for the overall sculpting folds and wrinkles,
try to use photos as reference. :)

Carl,
thank you

T50,
next time I will use pictures when applying wrinkles.
Used a 1/35 example for the body language and imagination on this one.

the first dots.
I will be using some filters for the trousers to enhance the effect on some colors an obtain some coherence.

To my eye, the folded arm (the right one) looks too long. If you take both upper and lower arm straigten them out, and put it down along side the body, it would extend too far down.
Just my observation...

Go on Phil..

When straightened, arms should reach just above the knees for 8 cm.
In my opinion, visually his right upper arm is a bit too thin, should have been provided with more textile to solve this, regarding the foils and wrinkles these types of smock caused.
At this stage, I will not do any altering and enjoy the lessons learned by this first sculpt, not to mention the paintjob on the tarnjacke..because I like my new aproach towards it compared with my last one.
So funny, no matter how one evolves, there's always something.

regards,

René
