Hey Guys!

Been reading all your suggestions, and I decided to try to paint something with more contrast then I normally do. So I got out an old resin 1/35th scale figure, I believe its an Ultra Cast offering, but Im not sure. Anyways, he was supposed to be running and shouting while pointing a finger and a Luger, but as I was playing around with it, it seamed to me that it would make a great 'in action' pose of someone getting shot (I know, little crude). Just changed the right hand and cut the pointing finger off the left hand and added a finger with putty. I really don't have any plans for this figure as I mainly focused on getting more contrast on the clothing. Maybe can use him for something one of these days.

Anyways, let me know what you think of the contrast, and how I could make it better!

G'morning Anders,
The contrast is better and it brings out the folds more and gives more life to the figure. Keep up the excellent work my friend. (y)

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the comments :)

Urukhai,

Tack, I think I like the idea, and like the more dramatic results, however I think I still need to refine it and work a lot more on it. But Im pretty happy with this figure, was fun to paint and was done in about 6 hours over 2 days. Im sure that I will try the same technique on the next figure, and will spend a lot more time on it instead of rushing through it. It's definately different and requires some precise highlights and shadows to keep from ruining the effects.

Hi Anders.
I like it a lot!
I only miss some black outlining under the jacket and pockets.
Anyway good work!
cheers
jaume
