12 Euros? I do think that they are a litle over priced!
So the retail price in the states will be in the mid $20 dollar range.

I just don't get it!

I sell to overseas customers at one hell of a discount! some get a distributor price and other shop prices? the figures shoud only be pennies more than stateside prices!
I do realize that shipping cost are a part of the mark up, but there is no reason why a 1/35th sclae resin figure should be selling in the $20-30 dollar range.

Dear Chris
Price figures "Stalingrad" - $17.98

Everything's bloody expensive these days!

For those in the UK I shall translate....

Soga miniatures, one 1/35th figure @E12 =£10.70
New World Miniatures, one 1/35th figure @$15 =£9.00

I couldn't find a UK distributor for Soga, but Firefly Models were offering NWM figures at £9.95 each, a difference of only 75 pence!

Once upon a time the pound was strong...(I only wish i'd bought Johnny Rosengrant's S&T 1/16th Kharkov figures back then for 25 quid a pop!)..but no more. Is it any wonder there's no new blood in this hobby?

For me the only plus side to this expensive hobby is that poverty = creativity. I wouldn't be sculpting now if I could just buy everything in sight!

A good example of creativity because of a frugal childhood is this interview with Vladimir Demchenko on Historicus Forma (Bravo-6) ....and look how extraordinarily talented he is!

Military modelling, with a plethora of excellent manufacturers, has never been in a better state than now (Looking through old copies of Airfix Magazine and Military Modelling Magazine is almost laughable!), but it can be a very expensive hobby.

It's never been a better time to be involved in this hobby, and the figures in this post are some of the BEST I have ever seen! BRAVO!

Just my tuppeny's worth (but tupenny doesn't buy a 1/35th figure!)
cheers,
Jon.

Thanks Jon

Thanks Jon
Here in the states Russian Mfg. Figures are selling from $18-28 U.S. dollars.
At those prices it makes it hard to purchase more than one or two a month and to be honest some of the most talented sculptors are coming from Russia.
Thanks and Dmitri keep up the great sculpting.

The sculpting is excellent. The proportions and look of the figures, especially the wounded are really realistic. If they're priced under $20 I don't think it's that bad. ~Gary

Just for information about New world miniatures prices in Europe, i have to thank Chris who makes a great job to let us sell it for a reasonnable price and it will be great if other brands do like he does.

Prices for figures in Russia are now rising very fast due to "higher production costs" (what a joke). I was working with Imperium and now with Evolution who released some older items from Imperium and i have to pay 1 or 2 dollars more than before for the figures... simply sad

i think to much sculptor are thinking they can sell figures for the same prices than Alpine Miniatures but i think a figure should be sold near 15 USD and not 20 USD
