Hi all
Well had a little go at the scene from She wore a yellow ribbon ,have made door frame and door need to make hinges and door handle, the log roof components are blue tacked will only have part of the wall on the left and I will shorten the right hand side , made it bigger so I could change it always feel easier to make smaller than bigger ,feel it will pull it together and Center the figures better .
Will make the stone work out of ......not decided yet any suggestion was thinking of cork
Have primed the duke its a craking little figure ,I only hope after I have gone to the tiny zone that my Mrs looks at the end result and says ,
You should have gone to specsavers lol

However I have to wear my hat when doing anything to do with the man lolimage.jpg

I have had good luck with baked and painted sculpey for bricks and cobbles. As it's a porous baked clay it already has some if the texture of scale brick. Not sure how readily available it is in the UK though. Also it would need to be backed by something solid as it can be a bit brittle.

This is looking great so far.

Hi Chris, im with Colin on the sculpey for bricks, evil bay about £8.00 for a pound block, good start on the building and the Duke looks great, not sure about yer titfer though :(

Yes, I agree this is looking really great! Neat idea, I can't wait to see it all come together.

Should be a brilliant scene when you're done, Chris. Its shaping up nicely.
You must get some strange looks from the Mrs though, sitting in the hobby room with that thing on ;)

Chris,

You know you will have to use this picture of you in the hat as your avatar. If anyone has seen the movie they know exactly what you are depicting. I will definitely be following this thread.
