I saw this figure many months ago when Sergey sent me "Your eyes Only" email and I have eagerly anticipated its release ever since. This is another quality boxed kit produced by Seil with their careful attention to marketing and customer satisfaction.

Above you see the kit as it was unpacked and the parts sandwiched between 2 heavy layers of foam. The metal base was below the foam you see so as not to damage any of the small parts.

Above you see the 4 views of the head showing the Asian appearance of the figure, the finely detailed helmet and the chain mail coming down to his shoulders.

Above you see 3 views of the chest showing the intricate detail Sergey has sculpted into the armor. The side views shows the leather straps used to hold the chest armor on and in place.

Above are the 3 components of the figure. Head, chest and legs. Very little addional clean-up needed to improve and get a tighter fit.

Above you see the raised relief flag. Additional sheet lead is supplied along with a template to add the tails of the flaf to the main body.

Above you see the 2 main halfs of the horse that also has locater lugs to insure proper fitment and alighnment.

Above we have the 2 views of the horse head (ears cast separtly) that shows the fine detail Sergey has sculpted into the horse's hair and the reins.

Conclusion:

An excellent kit loaded with detail and a will follow with another mounted figure that can be included in a vignette.

I'll have to add this one to my wishlist. I like that detail on the flag. I wish more of the flag or icon bearer figures had a detailed flag because my freehand ability starts & ends with stick figures.

Thanks for the review Guy.
Its a good looking figure but for me the awkward
way the right hand is holding the standard detracts from
its overall appeal.Great flag.
