Hi.
My first Vbench on this forum.
I hail from Poland.

The story will be about sculpting the bust of the german Stoßtruppen soldier in 1/9 scale.
As this is my first attempt at sculpting such thing, please be kind.

First i started work on the helmet, as it will provide me with the sense of dimensions for the bust.

Heres more progress.
Face was sculpted, and then baked in owen. First, and last time i used this stuff do sculpt faces.
I prefer the Magic Sculp for such task.

Hi Marc

I love it the face full of charecture not looking like the face very often depicted as if they have stepped out of a Men's Keep Fit magazine worn out tired but that typical Prussian sense of duty in keeping the moustache tidy .love the sculpt work glasses super work .and painting cracking helmet .
Cheers Chris

Great work !!!the mustache looks..............too real!
Keep up the good work, I am learning a lot from you for my coming project.
Really thank you for these step by step pics.

Today i added more colors.
I painted the uniform to look like original item- the grainy texture of faded green and gray.
I'm happy with the look of it.
The glass on the mask is still setting.
Hope you like it.

I have to admit that your figure has a very unique facial expression and it looks very different (in the good way) from the "usual" faces.
