Here's a figure from German manufacturer Der Bunte Rock. The piece is entitled "Stones that Speak". It depicts a Crow warrior tracking something. He has just detected a sign, the misplaced stone.
The figure comes well packaged in a sleeved box with ample packaging. It's well cast in white metal with twelve metal pieces that make up the figure and a resin base. My sample was cleanly cast with some slight mold lines. It's very well designed and sculpted. I expect it to assemble with very little filling. Care has been taken to make the pieces join along natural breaks.
The figure has a nicely scultped face, but has an unfortunate mold line running through it. I don't expect it to be difficult to clean up.
This figure is nicley done and should paint up very well. It's fairly deep in my bench, but I will post photos when I do get it started. This figure will reward the painter who enjoys painting fleshtones, as it's shirtless. Look for more from Der Bunte Rock in the future. He has a growing line of metal figures from many periods.
Lastly, in the interest of full disclosure, I should say that this is a manufacturer that I have mastered two figures for and plan to do more.
