Hello, everyone.:)
I painted Andrea's bust.
(STORMTROOPER,1916)
I establish this figure as a soldier in the trench.
The war in the trench in WW1 was miserable.
I painted soldier's face a little morbidly.
Clothes and a helmet are also doing WEZARINGU fairly.
A face faces to the bottom by setting of a kit.
At this rate a face isn't seen clearly.
I change and establish the angle of the figure fairly.
Faces and helmets weren't different parts.
So painting was difficult for a face.:(
All comments welcome.:)

G'day Mitsutaka,

That's a lovely bust mate. The weathering on the helmet and uniform is excellent. The skin colour does look a little too purple in my humble opinion, but otherwise it's first class.

Cheers

Thank you very much, tonydawe,eissteban,megroot.

I thought in fact facial painting started to be what I have in mind.
However do you make a bad impression and see a little?
When I peeped into a trench, enemy's soldier hid, and the eyes agreed.
I thought the face judged by that case's fear was seen as the natural tone.
The color of the face is different from fear hungrily for soldiers.
I needed purple to express that.
When it's seen as "model", I may fail.
But when seeing as "picture", I asked myself how it was.
When expressing WW1 by "picture", I think more soldier's faces are probably getting away from the natural tone.
"Model" is not "picture".
However "picture" I think how to use with the color which can be introduced into an model doesn't reach the limit yet.
I'd like to aim at a possibility of the expression of painting as much as possible as my target.

WW1 Trench raider

Nice piece. As you say, the face is different; I still like it. My experience is that spending all of one's time in cold and wet conditions will turn a fella a little purple! I joke but that is also true. VERY different, and therefore, very nice to see. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the jacket with the collar( it really looks like real fabric), gasmask and helmet all superbly painted.
But Im not sure if I like the colours of the face?
Its a matter of taste but perhaps more red in the white parts and perhaps also in the blueish parts?

Cheers
