Does anyone know what regiment/period the Chasseur from the new Stormtrooper’s/Troop 54 kit belongs to? Can’t quite decide from the painting on which it’s based if the facings are the same colour as the breeches and is that colour a yellow or chamois colour. As for period it’s obviously Napoleonic but is it Revolutionary/Early Napoleonic as the rather ornate sabretache on what looks like an undress uniform makes me think it is.
At the risk of these questions sounding a bit pedantic, is their anyone who can help?

Thanks

Neal

Can’t quite decide from the text on which it’s based what you are speaking about, just had a look at Troop54 range and no Chasseur ...
Picture please or part N°

It is based on this painting Mirofsoft. I even wondered whether it was an early Guard Chasseur (Consular) but the cuffs aren’t red/aurore.

Well, a retired one ... long time after the period ... a veteran wearing what's left of past glory

Bonnet is Stable duty
Jacket and gilet are " tenue de ville " ( town ) cuff perhaps aurore ( light ochre with a touch of red rubed of by sun and rain )
Pants are the one used on horse on campaign ( cream )
And sabretache looks like consulat period, something like : https://www.bertrand-malvaux.com/fr...-la-garde-des-consuls-consulat-1802-1804.html
And epaulette looks like what NCO were wearing ...

Or not ...
