Matt, Gary's right. I use a small pan on the stove, (mine's electric) and I get the water just warm enough to place my finger in it without it being too hot, somewhere around just slightly warmer than shower or bath water. Depending on the size/thickness of the piece, I count several seconds then take it out and hold the new shape. Sometimes it may take one or more dips but I have had good results with this. I heard of someone using a microwave for this but I can't see how you could control it or keep it from turning into a pile of goo this way,

I hope for you it will help. It depends on the resin.
I had a bajonet that I don't get straigth. I think it has some kind of memory in it. When it is straigth the next day it is bend again.

What I do is to force-tape the part in it's intended straight shape to a metallic ruler, inmerse it in boiling water for no more than 5 or 6 seconds and then place it inmediately under running cold water from the tap for another 5 or 6 seconds. I repeat the whole process three or four times.

A hair drier also works.

The hardest part of this method is getting them to stay in your hair until they're done.

Marc, just be thankful it still gets straight at all,...even if it does bend again the next day.

Once you straighten it, dry the piece and give it a quick spray of primer, even 2-3 thin coats. The primer seems to bind around the part and helps prevent it from bending back, I use hafolrds. I have found if the piece has cured straight but has got bent it will straighten up again usually ok. If the mould has been left to cure bent, particularly in tall thin moulds where they can lean during curing, the piece has the tendency to want to return to the curve. At very worse ask for a replacement piece but try the primer first I would say
Best wishes
