Details here http://www.stratfordarmouries.com/ Me and my lad 12yrs had a fantastic time It's more like visiting an eccentric uncles house than a museum, the guide Julian Spilsbury (avid Britains collector and historian) opened cases took out exhibits,allowed me to clamber all over the gothic knight to take pics for a WIP and was a fantastic fellah alround. Well worth a visit if you are down our way. It also houses the BMSS collection
pics here as most wouldn't go in the album.

There was loads more but it wasn't my period WW1 WW2 etc so yeah I think they have it all TBH

Well worth a visit if you are near the Midlands I'd say it's a good 2hr tour at least Oh yes and kiddo now fancies himself as a Viking!

Hi Steve,
Kind of spooky, but me and my lad went a couple of weeks ago - a real blast from the past, many of the figures I can remember seeing in Military Modelling articles years ago! Ive never seen so many pairs of binoculars, too!! A real Aladdins cave, full of STUFF!!
As you say, well worth a couple of hours of your time,
