T-34/76 beute Panzer, Ukraine 1944

After completing couple of Sherman tanks I decided to make a change and build a T-34 instead. Already having a specific vehicle choosen for my build I started with basic assembly and also scratchbuilt the turret schurzen, that are, as you can see in the original picture taken from a Pzkpfw III and modified to fit the T-34 Formochka turret. The tank comes from a unidentified unit, most likely operating during the 1943/44 campaign in Ukraine. The tank also has remnants of, what appears to be, brackets for hull schurzen. The reason for attaching a piece of some material on the muzzle of the barrel is unknown to me.
