Last month Roman Rux, owner of Ademola 22 Miniatures releases this 200mm resin kit depicting the Japanese Samurai Takeda Shingen. The box art was painted by the Master painter, Sang Eon Lee and with this combination of sculpting and painting has brought us a beautiful 9 part kit.

Arriving in Ademola's sturdy black cardboard box this kit is one of the most professionally packed miniature kits I have seen. All of Ademola 22 kits are packed this way.

Once out of the box we have individual wrapped portions with bubble wrap.

All of the parts except the plinth are sealed in small zip-lok bags to insure against loss during shipping and mailing. The bottom photograph shows all the parts out for inspection prior to review photography.

Dry-fitting of the head down into the neck socket is a perfect fit.

Above you see the optional helmet dry-fitted onto the head after removing the casting block. I have to re-emphasize being careful when removing the casting blocks and even with years of experience I broke out a chip of the above helmet on the left side. Luckily for me, I'll be using the other optional helmet when I paint this bust.

Conclusion:
An absolutely beautiful kit with highly sculpted detail and engineering. Casting blocks need to be removed carefully prior to painting. Highly recommended.

What a fine kit!

Allows one to see how Lee goes beyong the sculpt to create extra sense of depth and in this case, sagging flesh. That's why I love to see these reviews.

Thank you Guy for the detailed and comprehensive review.

An extraordinary bust, beautifully sculpted and the painting is superb.
Well done.
