Hi all, advice please. Joe Hudson said that he would like to see me paint a tartan on a figure/bust. I have been looking around and have seen the bust on the Bonapartes site in new releases. also on the site there is a highlander with his bagpipes. www.bonapartes.co.uk has any one dabbled with either of these busts. Or suggest some other figures/busts for me to look at.

I have seen teh bonapartes Bust done john, but I hvaen't done any, thers a bit of Tartan on teh new Grieve/Debra Raymond bust.

Hey John,

I have the new highlander bust that you are talking about. It is a beauty It is a cold cast resin and not a flaw on it! It should paint up nice if that is one you want to do. I will be doing mine for probably Chicago. The others that Robin are talking about look really nice. I am currently working on a bust now it is a little bear with the air holes but I should have something to post soon.

Hi John
Fort Duquesne do a highland chieftain at Culloden bust.
Think it's still available, has a tartan plaid over one shoulder.

Painted it couple of years ago, for a Scotsman I was working for.
The tartan I painted was Munro, did it in acrylics, good for tidying up
lines.

If you want to do a tartan figure the 79th from David Grieve is a lovely figure, I did him for a friends Dad.
