Same great idea. After some tasty treats. I use the clear case for my oil painting. I like 12 x 16 palette paper. You can cut it to the size you want. It will dust proof and dry proof your paint until your next painting session.

Nice....... yes that one is a good size and they are not deep so very easy to use

Nothing under the paper just a stack of palette paper. If you need to store your paint for a longer period of time, soak couple of Q-tips in turp, paint thinner or clove oil and put it inside the case with the paint. Put the case in a ziplock freezer bag and into the freezer. For your next paint session, let your case out of the freezer and warm up for about 5 to ten minutes and is ready to paint again.

I was just reading an update in the thread for the Mr. Black wet palette, and I was trying to think of sources for that plastic box, because I know have seen them.

What are the dimensions on the Ferrero-Rocher box? I may have one in my stash somewhere, and I might try it, as a different option from my current home-made wet palette:



That's a take-out container with a kitchen sponge, and brown package paper as the membrane.

The Ferrero-Rocher box comes in different sizes. The one show in the thread is 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. There is a bigger one, 8 3/8 x 11 1/4 and a smaller one about the half size of the 8 1/2 inches.

I use the sponge cloth under the paper like in the pic in first post.
