Completed Templar Knight, Black Dog Models

Hi All

Managed to get this finished this week. This is another commission piece for one of my collectors. The bust kit is from Black Dog, the face is wonderful to paint and has great character and expression.

The rest of the kit was ok but I had to re-sculpt some of the folds as the surface finish was a bit on the rough side, don’t know if it was my kit or what? Nothing that a bit of milliput did not cure.

The bust is a Templar of the Crusades, 1/9th in scale and resin parts. All painted in Reaper and Vallejo acrylics.

Any comments good or bad welcome.

Just need to pack and wrap it now to go off to its new home in Germany.

As always, well done Tommi. I'm about 3/4 finished the Black Dog Persian Immortal 75mm. Great pose/sculpt, etc but I had the same problem with a rough/pitted surface.....a lot of clean up

Beautiful work tommi,the face has real character and expression,i love the wear on the shield strap,the light and shade on the shield cross is very well done and effective,one of my favourite details is the tiny stitching arround the cross on the main body,these tiny details really add to the piece,he should be very pleased when he recieves this one,great job mate
