Thought I'd pass on a very small tip. Some time back, I searched for small containers that would hold mixed acrylic paints overnight or maybe 2 days without evaporation, reasonably stable, etc. These were mixes of colors I wanted to keep for a few days and be able to use several times. [Anybody else do this -- or is yet another of my aberrations!?? There are so many these days!! :( ]

Anyway, Dick Blick sells these little 1 oz. La-Con circular cups with waterproof sealing lids. Web page above. Cheap - $0.45 each. My local store sells them by the dozen in a pack at a cheaper unit price.

Note - that I'm not a salesman for Mr. Blick! :)

All the best,
Dan

Dan, thanks for the tip. I too mix colors and have to keep them for a day or two. You are not alone. My wife works in a water treatment plant and they have these small bottels so every now and then she orders a few for me. They cost me about 35 cents a piece but work good. I also like the ones you posted. I'll have to check Blick the next time i venture to Columbus. Thanks again. Brock :)

If you have a Michael's craft store in your area, they sell similar containers. I have gotten the larger and smallest size there and use them for everything. I have kept acrylic paint in one of the larger ones for a month! Good idea for airbrush nuts too!
