Good afternoon all.
I have just used for the first time an excellent alternative to Dul Cote.
The Army Painter brand of their matt varnish.
This may be old news to some but it's my first time using it and I highly recommend it.
Attached picture shows product and the link is the best price I've found on Ebay.

Same rules as always with mat coats..
. spray in light coats to avoid drips
. spray from 12-15 inches away to avoid build up and white chalky build up
. spray a few coats to get best results
I have always been annoyed by the price of Testors Dul Cote and the size of the can.
This product offers three times the amount for just about twice the price.
Give it a try and good luck.
Keep painting and cheers from Cumbria where painters don't have to pray for rain
