Currently on the bench is this 90mm metal figure by Pegaso.

Project started badly - my usual black primer went on rough and it had to be stripped completely, but I've now finished sketching out the heraldry. Still some corrections to be made particularly on the lilies and the shield will be weathered heavily this time but I quite like the result.

Hi Cyrill

Good to see what your working in

Like the whites on this in particular

Nice work on the heraldry look forward to seeing more

Interesting to see a original shield pattern ....were you not tempted to do that version .....

Following with interest

Looking forward to seeing more

Have fun @ the bench

Thanks Kevin.

I've considered it, however the figure isn't Karl von Trier but rather one of his successors, possibly Dietrich von Altenburg, as well the French King permitted the order to carry the lilies in the cross around that time, so I very much want them to be present. The box art has them as well.

Making the heraldry on the chest with the little cross in front which must be in the way must not have been an easy task....
The dagger is more of a problem as you can see with the splotches of yellow paint on it....I probably should reconsider my habit to glue down as much as I can prior to painting for fear something goes wrong with final assembly (happened a lot with my first few models)
