The Bizantine 75 Mm Bestsoldiers

I just bought this figure from Bestsoldiers. It represents a bizantine warrior. Sculpted ByAntonio Zapatero Guardini, the scale is 75 mm and cast in thirteen white metal parts.
All parts are well protected in a bubble wrap pocket and contained in a sturdy box.
Additional painting reference can be taken from the colour box art from the hands of the very talented Iguazzu.

The shield is very nice and lends itself to many pictorial possibilities.
I am very pleased to have him in my army gray and started to paint it.
