The top photo shows the standard high quality box that Young Miniatures is noted for with all the parts sandwiched between layers of foam. The small parts are enclosed into a small zip-lok bag to insure against loss during shipping.

Above we have a dry-fitting of the hat onto the head. Again, the locater slot in the hat insures the modeler will be able to have the correct portion of the hat facing front.

Conclusion:
Another stunning addition to Young's wide range of busts and figures. The engineering and casting are superb with casting blocks to be removed. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous. The king of busts owns it like a marble on the palm, be it his own sculpts or not.

Surprised Young would make an entrance to the Soviet universe with this one. Future recommendations: more Soviets, some girls.

Say howabout a female Soviet sniper?

Little further information about this:

The letters on the cap ( "Черноморский флот") are in phonetic Russian: "Tschernomoiskij Fljot" (= "Black Sea Fleet").

Drop dead gorgeous. Incredible bust, and beautifully painted. And the
box art is the best I have seen in some time. Very artistic and and I would
think it would attract a lot of attention, even though I realize most figure
modelers order on line and never actually see the box art, holding the box
in their hand, until after they've already parted with their cash!

Also, the stubs of the pour spouts seem to be in logical places, easier to
remove without damage to the sculpted piece.

IMHO, really raising the bar !!!
