This bust really caught my eye on the Elan13 stand last month at the Salisbury show. The face was so full of character and so different from what I'm used to painting.
I managed to finish it a few days before Bugle Call and it duly found a place on the Plymouth MSS stand. The photos tend to show a slightly lighter version than it actually is (I'm a crap photographer).

Cheers,
Andrew

Rough customer. Nice textures and colours.

I really enjoyed painting this one, particularly the various leathers.
I forgot to state in my original post that the paints were oils over enamels or acrylics.

Gary, Marc, Kevin, Graham,
Many thanks for the kind comments.

Graham,
Yes, it's a new one from Elan13, but not yet on their website. If you contact Rob Lane (elanlane13 on PF) he'll tell you all about it.

Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks for the kind words Rob.
I find that the Elan13 range regularly gives me something different and interesting to work on (the Merchant and Baldrick are prime examples.
Keep 'em coming.

Cheers,
Andrew

Many thanks for your comment Paul.
The Elan13 range are all good sculpts, and regularly come up with something that makes you smile, such as the Merchant and Baldrick.
I wonder what Robert will come up with next?

Cheers,
Andrew
