This is 1/32nd scale. and while I did use a couple of hornet heads as a basis (WW2 Germans!) these were reduced to mere skull shapes so I am calling this scratch! Paperclip wire armature and mainly Magisculpt and Duro or a mix of both. Barbed wire from 5 amp fuse wire and posts have a core of coathanger wire and shape built up with Milliput. Painted in acrylics. Got a bit of a shine on his blue jumper so may try some matt varnish on that if I can find one that reliably works! Cheers, Bob

This is a very touching scene from the film , nice one on sculpting this from a bit of wire up ! .......small but perfectly formed ....tells the story so well

Lots of swearing doing the barbed wire perhaps ...lol

Thanks for sharing

Hi Bob,
Superb concept and meticulous construction.
Compared to your Samurai, you've completed this one at lightning fast speed.
I've been watching you steadily developing this vignette at shows over the past few months.
Excellent sculpting of the figures and incredible detailing of the posts, right down to the individual insulators.
Your last tale was your problems with the barbed wire. You certainly got that nailed.
Your painting has pulled everything together and resulted in an excellent vignette.
Very, very well done.

Cheers,
Andrew
