here I report Pepe step by step of news
The Commander from manufacture Bestsoldiers www.bestsoldiers.com

Authomatic Traslation
I start this small step with the later BestSoldiers, modeled by Antonio Zapatero in 75mm. The figure is clearly inspired by the character in the movie Master and Commander. It has two versions, one bareheaded. And the other with classic bicorno of the British Navy. No objection regarding reserve requirements. The casting is of high quality, just a little putty to cover the few logical flaws white metal casting.
I decided to make bareheaded for prove yourselves more attractive.
The idea occurred to me to bring you this piece is to a section of the ship to put it into action. To which I redid the step which supports the foot, stair startup mode, and will be completed cordage and ropes own these ships.
You already know me on the issue of documentation. I leave some sheets clarify uniformity, their textures and colors and scuffs that looked subjected these garments. We can say that we have a good figure of classical and in the purest historical line.

Great subject, the Georgian navy.I am not so sure though if the sword was suspended so parallel to the ground.Perhaps members with more expertise on the subject could enlighten us.

AUTOMATIC TRASLATION
The next step was the primer of the figure, after cleaning mold lines and polish all metal. I used Tamiya acrylic airbrush, Matte White and Matte Black. It is increasingly difficult to bring something new to our hobby, as virtually everything is made and invented, I see more rewarding and even fun, mixing techniques, we can consider that in other modelisticas branches serving, it can be used and applied to other and vice versa. In this case I gave the figure overhead lighting with white paint, to further define the shadows with the airbrush shooting from the completely opposite side to the overhead light. This better defines us light and shadow areas.
why? the use of white, to use as a canvas, this painting area affected by white background will be brighter in its finish and the opposite will happen to the area influenced by the black primer.

The stage, primed blank is to try to get the wood finish from the use of inks. All in good time

This a a great figure, with a choice of how you want to present it, which makes it a winner in my book.
I really enjoyed the film, and new someone who provided a lot of info to the Director.
Some of the accouterments worn by the actors where actually originals. I heard one or two items did not get returned after the filming was complete.
So I'll be following this with great interest.:)
And of course I will be purchasing the kit as soon as possible.

Inspired by the film, which was in turn inspired by history.

Whichever way you slice it, it's a cracking figure and I'm sure Pepe will make a fantastic job of it. Will be following this one.

This w.i.p. or step by step, I haven't based on the painting of the face because it's something else that already submitted and known to this day, there will beother elements and their textures that I'll try more in detail. You can see here the base color of the skin and its subsequent finished giving lights and shadows following the pattern of lighting. The Color of the hair will be looking over the course of the next processes to reduce the over by another more yellow ochre. You can also be seen in the treatment of the vest contrasting wrinkles and volumes to give prominence in this area of the figure. These clothes were very exposed to inclement weather and the service what he was doing that will erode away towards the colors of his initial white clothing. You can see the work of the tie and the shirt in cool tones that contrast with the warm colour of the vest.I think an officer of the British Navy will take care very much about to lose a button of his uniform, with which in next steps you will see that the button has been added to the vest.Comment, too, that all these photos are made with the camera on the cell phone. The final pictures will be taken over by reflex camera. Will continue....

We can see here the process of ilumación of a white garment, which starting from a very far away from the color white come on working and illuminating the vast areas and also the areas where it is compressed pinzan wrinkles to the garment in question is his Done for real.
As the council to tell you that in this process has never been used the color white. The highest lights have been achieved with color bone.
Part of the textures, as well as the lines of pant seams are reinforced with a game of light-Shade, as some don't come from the all modelled.

'll talk about the color of the jacket and the beginning of the golden thread.
For the jacket, it is important to look for a Matt finish own of the cloth that represent these clothes. The colors of Andrea and scale 75 are the most suitable for these things for your opacity. You can see in the photos that are needed in several layers to the color cover the entire surface. For the thread of gold we can use any shade toast slightly tinged with yellow and ochre.
The Navy Blue, Prussian Blue, etc... It's a color that instead of reflecting the light, usually the absorbs what we facilitates the lighting because in just a few steps we can get good results, by against slows down the process. The fact of shading in excess with the color blue, reason that can give Appearance of an overly "Electric Blue" which would not be real at all, for those cases I'd rather wear turquoise to brighten up the color.
You can see the finish of the jacket in the pictures the end of this chapter....

hat is going to satin this mix, it gives it to the end result a slightly glossy appearance that brings a very real aspect to this type of texture.
In the photo of the palette used can see colours that have been involved in these mixtures. Always advice to work hard on our palette, before deciding to put the brush on the figure, have decided on the palette, shadows and lights to make variations possible, that's why, unless you're painting your first figures, the recipes with percentages or drops , as soon as you are going to provide knowledge about the color, it is better to study and learn about the color wheel and work it live on your color palette.
A color that I find very interesting to wear the color leather is the brown khaki in vallejo.
And from among the glossy, some of the citadel, and others like black satin of Andrea and dark brown leather also of Andrea.
