THIS SET OF FIGURES WAS INSPIRED BY ONE OF LADY ELIZABETH BUTLERS PAINTINGS 'STEADY THE DRUMS AND FIFES' WHICH DEPICTS THE MUSICIANS OF THE 57TH FOOT AT AT THE BATTLE OF ALBUERA 1811.

I HOPE TO HAVE THE COMPLETE SET BY THE END OF THE MONTH AND WILL POST UPDATES.

SET#3 IS AVAILABLE AT £60 + £3.50 P&P OR INDIVIDUALY AT £32.50 + P&P
IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUERIES PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME ON [email protected]

Thank you for sharing with us Gordon :)

Are the heads cast separately ? The boys heads needs some tuning, as the angle looks most uncomfortable.

Gordy, the heads on all of the kits ,so far, are cast seperately which will enable minor adjustments to be made. There is a choice of alternate headgear for the sergeant in Set#2 which is a belgic or stovepipe shako. A choice of heads for other figures in the range may be an option at a later stage utilising the two different types of shako and possibly an oilskin covered one.

Set#3 depicts two characters in the centre of the group of figures as painted by Lady Butler, the smaller one leaning forward and craning his neck to the left waving his drumsticks at someone who is out of view. When grouped together as a whole the figures capture the spirit of the actual painting very well.

Cheers
