I believe this is only the basecoat. For what is worth: Cobblestones are a dark grey with blue shine.

Yes, Tamiya 'FLAT EARTH" is the "basecoat" and (one) has to be patient as well as disciplined to what further develops to achieve uniqueness and success with the final conclusion of the project.

Yes, all and or any suggestions from others as well as my self are respected & taken into consideration.

The suggestion "dark grey with blue shine" sounds interesting. That color scheme popping up between the 'earth' tones of the weathering effects & pigments achieving a nice subtle contrast (colors as well as light sheen) sounds very appealing to the eye.
