Nice work on this classic kit. Love the flesh tones, nice and subtle. The eyes look pretty darn good as well.
If I may, from your close ups of the face, it does look a little rough as if your primer was a course grade, or if sprayed on, was drying before it contacted with the kit. If this was a bit smoother, it will make your painting a lot easier. Just a thought.
Nice work and welcome to Planetfigure

Hello Terry: First of all, may I take this opportunity to
welcome you to PlanetFigure. I'm so glad that you're
off to a great start with that incredibly sculpted bust.
The hair is just a work of art; some of the best sculpting
of hair that I have seen in quite some time. Will be
eager to see further progress on this fine looking bust.

Thanks Rick! I just discovered the helmet shield is the wrong color. Drat!

Looks great so far. Thanks forthe in progress shots. Those are always good to see. What paint did you use for the field grey?

Colin

Thanks Colin! The base coat is a darkened shade of Tamiya Field Grey. The high lights are oil paint(white, olive green, and blue)

I Like what you have done. I'm not a fan of a catchlight into the eye. Your cathclight supporting me in my opinion.
If you put them, put them in each eye on the same place, because it looks strange if it is not.
I think you better use a glossy varnisch in the eye. The natural light does the rest.
