I first saw flat tin figure models when attending various model shows in the mid 1980's with my local model club. At that time I was making models of things with wings and I always spent some time talking to the modellers concerned and promised myself that one day, etc.
My introduction to figure models continues with my first attempt at a flat tin figure.
The figure was sourced from that well known t'internet auction site and preparation of it followed advice found on this fine forum.
The figure was primed with Tamiya acrylic Light Grey and then painted using Mig Ammo and Vallejo acrylic paints.
I really enjoyed this project and will certainly give flats another go.
The photo was taken at the figure's first outing at the IPMS Ipswich show last Saturday and caused a few chuckles.
