Hi all.
This was one of those good mornings we all look forward to.....the sun was shining, the coffee excellent and the post early.
Two figures I ordered at Euro from Steve arrived. A British Infantryman in Greatcoat 1917/18 and a Scot in same. Both similar in pose, walking pace, but with plenty variation to clearly define them as seperate figures. The Scots head has a more upright attitude and the Brit is more stooped giving an impression of heavy rain. Each figure comes as a full torso with arms and legs cast on. The Brit has a choice of 3 heads, helmeted, covered helmet and Naval head dress. The Scot has choice of 2 with Tam O' Shanter or Glengarry. Additional items include right hand with an alternative carrying a shovel, Mess tin, Rifle, Bayonet, Pick Helve / Bayonet and an extremely good section of 'boarded' trench base.
Clean up was minimal with much of the flash just rubbing off.
These are beautiful figures with bags of realism and accuracy as you would expect from Steve.
Unfortunately my Digital camera resides at the bottom of the Seine so no photos.
Hopefully someone will do a proper photo review. Highly recommended...you won't be disappointed.
Cheers
Derek
