Just had a relaxing afternoon watching episodes 6/7/8
Sarah Lund is still trying to catch the kidnapper....... I've got the answer
SWITCH THE LIGHTS ON
why is it detectives searching occupied houses, parliamentary offices, Factories etc don't just flick a light switch ..... the trend seems to be use a fairly weak torch held at head level......message to bad guy...aim 3 inches to the left of the beam.......result

And has today been a good day Del, what with all your chasing torchlight (Flashlight) beams.
Have you taken your medication yet???

Don
PS Who is Sarah Lund?

Main character of cult Swedish Detective series The Killing you'd have to have seen the current series to see what I mean

This actually happens in real life. I'm a cop in my home town and when I go in to search a house, etc. the young rookies go right in flash lights/ torches at the ready. The second thing I look for is the light switch, makes the whole thing a lot easier and the looks on their faces, (why didn't I think of that?) always makes me chuckle.:D

Hmm...now I admit that Im not to keen on detectives, except for Foyles War, but I am from Sweden and have never heard of this Sarah Lund. Is it written by an swedish author?

Cheers
Janne Nilsson

I think Delboy is sending you all off to chase wild geese. Sarah Lund is actually Sofie Gråbølan actress.

Hi Del,

do you mean there's a third season ?
I saw the first and second and really enjoyed it. It was just a pity that the second one contained 10 episodes rather than 20 like the first one !
Is she luckier with her partner then ?? No, don't tell !!! .....I'm eager to see it in France now !
This serie gave me the will to read scandinavian thriller novels; i loved the atmosphere.
i heard that the copy right was bought in USA for an american version of season one.

cheers

Hi Nico looks like series 3 is 10 episodes. You'll enjoy it.....I don't think it'll travel across the Atlantic too well, it's got that Northern European uptight 'darkness' that doesn't fit with American optimism.
