Hello friends.
I am new here, but I was watching your wonderful paintings for a time.
I am painting the historical figures for almost 6 months and I think it is time to share my latest work with you.

The Last Daimyo comes from Andrea Miniatures in 54 mm scale.
Painted with oils over acrylics. All comments are welcome.

Thanks for warm welcome and nice words about the figure..

Joe, it is a nice figure. Well casted with very clean parts, easy to fix and no putty work.

Alguhan,

You are very talented man, painting this figure so clean, and only painting for six months.
I will see some work of you after 4 years.
Great painting.

Thanks Marc for the encouragment.
I must say that I painted lots of 1/35 plastic figures before. I am get used with oils but I never used acrylics on them. With these historical figures I am getting used with the acrylics too.

Alguhan,
first of all welcome to the Planet! Secondly, nice painting! I really like the patterns you achieved on his shirt and pants under his armor. Bring us more!

Alguhan,

That is an excellent execution. Your face is very good. Good to have you hear at pF! I have just been painting one year, and I have found this community to be very talented, helpful, and friendly.

Cheers on a great job!

Kyle ;)

Hi, compliments i like it, it's a real good work, only a little one thing: i think there is too much blood on the blames... but it's only the my opinion.
