So what is this influence by Masai, it is very interesting subject ...

Ivan hi , if you get to research the story and culture of this proud people , you need no more to get down and get engaged with them. It's something different when it comes to these tribes, so .......that's it !!1

As for the safari in Malta i was not talking for 4 leg animals !!! LOL

Hi Costas

I can guess that MASAI have a very rich culture, I once ventured into the Zulus and that was already rich enough ... I can guess how many other tribes in Africa one can come up with and also so colourful and warriors!

Hunting two legged in Malta, ah you have to run fast then : )

Since some friends have asked in the series of Masai Posts for the painting of black skin here you are

Lately i have started to use the REAPER brand of acrylics (Mostly for fantasy figures) and i must say i am much more than satisfied. So all following colors come from REAPER except if i say different

Painting the black skin color :

Base

Nightshade Purlpe
Harvest Brown
Rubby Leather
Dark Skin
Oiled Leather

Highlights

Base + Harvest Brown 1st
Base + Golden Skin next ones

SHadows

Base + Nightshade purple in 2-3 leayers darker and darker every time

Deep Shadows with oil paint CASSEL EARTH

This combination was used in all the Masai series, with different proportions every time in order to achieve different types and tones of skin

I wish i helped you some my friend

Best Regards

Costas
