This is an old out of productions Legends & Lore 1/10 bust produced in resin, I picked this up off of ebay a while ago.
The only thing I've changed are the two Colt Walker revolvers, the ones in the kit were not that good so I scratch built the pair in the photos, they look massive but that's because they were huge pistols often carried in holsters attached to the saddle.
The figure bears a very good likeness to Clint Eastwood and the pose is taken from the film posters of the Outlaw Josey Wales
Painted in oils.
The base is made out of an old piece of Silver Birch carved up to an abstract shape.
All comments very welcome

Cheers

Looking good Jim, as you say the Colts do look over sized. But I'm sure that you've scaled them accordingly.
The base is reminiscent of windswept sandstone pillars,
Carl.

Thanks for your comments and glad you like the base Steve, I was not too sure on it at first so it's nice to have someone else's view on it.

Nice job with the revolvers and the figure mate always liked the look of this kit.
I like that base really suites the figure as it reminds me of some rocky outcrop you see in western movies.

hello
immensly big gun.i did some looks at youtube where you see such colts fired.on nearly all the cocking lever did come loose at every shot.it seems those thing was not much faster to operate than an single shot pistoil.because it took the chaps always more than 40 seconds beetween single shots to adjust the chamber or the lever again.
the bust with those too cannons
well from me yeah thumps up

Great work!

These are Walker Colts and really aren't (that much) oversized.

They must have been the first six shooters around and therefor not yet 'very subtle' in size compared to the later used, Colt Navy.
It looked about the same but was much leaner in appearance.
